YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL – YAC
Kina Gbezhgomi Child and Family Services offers youth aged 14-24, within the Districts of Sudbury and Manitoulin, who may be in care or in transition and of the Anishinabe ancestry, the opportunity to advocate within The Youth Advisory Council (YAC).
Members assist KGCFS within an advisory capacity to provide insight to specialized programs and services geared towards youth within the agency. The youth may advise KGCFS on a variety of aspects of service delivery both in house and in the community that meet the needs of children and youth in care to ensure those served by KGCFS are getting the best experience possible.
